Refund & Right of Withdrawal Policy
Your 14-day right, the digital-content exception, and how refunds work.
This policy explains your statutory right of withdrawal as an EU consumer, the exception that applies to digital content, and how to ask for a refund.
1. Your 14-day right of withdrawal
As a consumer in the EU you normally have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract, without giving any reason (Directive 2011/83/EU; in Italy, the Consumer Code, D.Lgs. 206/2005).
2. Exception for digital content supplied immediately
Our guides are digital content supplied immediately. By law, the right of withdrawal is lost once supply of such content has begun, provided you gave prior express consent and acknowledged the loss of the right (Art. 16(m) of Directive 2011/83/EU; Art. 59(1)(o) of the Italian Consumer Code).
For this reason, at checkout you are asked to tick a box confirming that:
- you expressly request that we begin supplying the guide immediately; and
- you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access has begun.
If you do not wish to give this consent, please do not complete the purchase and contact us instead.
3. Before access begins
If you have purchased but have not yet redeemed or opened the guide, you may still withdraw within 14 days and receive a full refund. Just contact us with your order details.
4. Our satisfaction approach
Beyond your statutory rights, we want you to be happy. If something is wrong — you cannot access the guide, or there is a serious content defect — contact us and we will fix it or, at our discretion, refund you.
5. How to request a refund
Email [CONTACT EMAIL] with your order number. Refunds are processed by Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record) back to your original payment method, usually within a few business days depending on your bank.
6. Effect of a refund
When a refund is issued, the related access code is revoked and the guide can no longer be opened.
